Everyone is doing good, some of the first hatching fry have gotten their first feedings. My platy fry all got some porky bellies on them
Its been a learning curve and im still figuring things out. Ive raised molly and platy fry before, but this is my first time being successful with egg layer fry. Ive had dwarf gourami fry and cherry barb fry before and none survived. So i wouldnt say im great at it, but im learning.
This has been a really great experience though. Ive made mistakes, ive messed up, but i also move forward from those.
I do have to say i enjoy the cory fry quite a bit. I wanted to breed my weitzmani first, but my trilineatus bred on their own. To be honest, its a good experience as weitzmani are rarer and maybe wouldnt be as easy to start off with, so this helps me learn before my weitzmani are ready. Plus can see how the catfish market is locally.
Ive had a major die off again. I didnt move anyone, change anything in routine, add anything new...
Just bunch died off over last night and today.
I have 34 left, ive segregated the survivors for closer monitoring.
Water changed 100% daily, temperature 72-75 depending on the ambiant temps, fed 2 times a day with Hikari First Bites, many that dies were smaller but had tummies full of food.
I dont know. Just not a good day.
My oldest guy is doing good, he is one of the 34.

No further losses, im at 32 fry. Ive moved them to a 2.5 gal, i can monitor them now easier as i can see them from all angles.
Little Solo is 24 days old and looking more grown up
His tankmates are 9-11 days old and are varying sizes, though most are 11 days as most of the ones that passed were the smaller, younger ones.
