Yes it would free up lots of room in your terrariums. He had pics on his website of pitchers and sundews in a minibog as well. They all seemed to do good outdoors in the sun. He did have some in terrariums for propogation purposes.

I found the site again but I didnt see anywhere on the site that states which state he is in. Im guessing Pennsylvannia though only cuz he has a link on there for a thing in Penn. Besides that there is nothing giving location. Well you could try it and let me know how it goes then maybe if it works I could try it lol.
Hehe... it would be interesting to put tropicals in a minibog and over winter it indoors. Again, the big concern there is the humidity... at least here in Co.
Same here in So. Cali. Its more dry then humid in my part of Cali. I would imagine with a layer of moss on top with the heat of the sun the humidity levels would increase in that section. Maybe im wrong but I know when I water the grass last time in the sun it started feeling sticky or muggy.
Okay, I'm either really lucky or just tragically weak. After a couple weeks spent looking for a heliamphora heterodoxa x minor, i decided to send some emails to places that listed them as out of stock. I came across this site: http://www.hortusb.com/. I got an email back saying that they have one ready to go but not listed on the site yet! I talked to the owner this morning, Robert Goleman. He's a really nice guy and sounds like he really knows his stuff. Anyway, I should get it next thursday!
