CP terraium - Plants only

Would anyone really want to stick there head down a titan arum though? The smell must be dreadful.

Interesting side note:

The popular name titan arum was invented by the broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough, for his BBC TV series The Private Life of Plants, in which the flowering and pollination of the plant were filmed for the first time. Attenborough felt that constantly referring to the plant as Amorphophallus on a popular TV documentary would be inappropriate

I'll let you guys find out why the genus name could be TV inappropriate yourselves though.

And :silly: to you Jb. You are partially to blame...I never posted in this section until you convinced me to get CP's.

What can I say? I'm infectious... er... um... n/m.

Update on my bog!
Well for the past 2 days, we got 4-5 inches of rain. needless to say my bog overflowed. Im planning on pulling up my 4 1 inch seedlings and growing them in my terrarium until they are a little bigger before i put them back in the bog. Everything is pretty much on the ground. But, this next week is supposed to be a scorcher so it'll dry everything out hopefully!

Pauls Tip For The Day.
-If you read that you should drill a couple holes in the pond liner so if it rains hard it doesn't overflow. Do it.

Dang! Sorry 'bout the flood, Paul. Sounds like sound advice though.

I had to post this up... the Heli's already showing new growth! I guess the hybrids really are easier to keep that the species. I heard it would probably be a month or more before it was acclimated and growing...

Just to the right of the left most pitcher, you can see the new little guy coming up!

LOL yup should of follwed that advice. Even me living here in Cali I would of followed that advice. We rarely get down pours but they do happen. Better safe then sorry.
