CP terraium - Plants only

Nepenthes are tropical pitchers from SE Asia in their own family. There are also Sarracenia and Darlingtonia found in North America and Heliamphora from South America in another...Cephalotus from Australia are in their own. All drosera are in the same family as VFTs I think...

Weeee! Great news everyone!

Do you guys remember a few weeks back when I planted those sundew seeds? Right now I'm seeing extremely tiny leaves popping out of the media!! Yay! Downside, I don't know what they are.

Also, the Capensis mother plant has a million tiny capensis in the pot. I guess my addiction will spread.

Well, I had to take the kids on a field trip 'cause it was fertilizer time again. (A little unsolicited advice... if you're going to use fertilizer, don't use fish emulsion extracts if you're using it indoors. The stink is... impressive.) So I thought I'd take the opportunity and snap some photos. I'll do this in a couple of posts.

First, a group shot... awww... the whole family together. LOL.


Heli... another new pitcher sprouting up!

I didn't fertilize the VFT or the Sar... but they were outside, so I thought I'd get the pics anyway. =)

Jamban... two new pitchers forming.


Sanguinea.... seems to be really happy. The pitcher on the left is the new one... :thm:


Ventricosa... just keeps growing, and growing, and growing. I definitely recommend this one to new growers!
