We had a preceding thunderstorm that's flooded the bog garden..... I need to do some quick work tomorrow. The flytraps have put on some huge new leaves, so has the purp. I leave for a week and they decide to grow at an unbelievable rate.... figures.
That hurricane was dissapointing. My bog is completely fine. The winds weren't bad at all. My power flickered last night and that was it. How did u make out dp?
Everything is fine here. No damage at all to the plant or house. We have a lot of rainwater stored in the rain barrels now. Moving them into the garage was a good idea, we had a lot of wind here.
Wow, how'd that happen? I'm surprised we didn't have a lot more trees fall since the ground had been soaked for the past month. But then again half of NJ is still under water.
A single pine tree branch fell on the edge, right at the corner of my room. There's another one that looks like it'll be falling soon. I saw the videos from NJ, it looks bad.
I managed to move some of my plants down to the apartment. The Nepenthes X ventrata is hating me for it, but it's 70 degrees and 60% humidity in here. Looks like my U. graminifolia kicked the bucket though.
