Craigslist gold! 38gallon eclipse

Bought the tank and eclipse 3 hood system for 50bucks! and Bought a stand off someone else for 20bucks. First came a 50/50 flourite gravel mix, then a layer of normal gravel and then a couple AC member plant sales later I have a nicely set-up tank.

Comments opinions?? For stocking I was thinking about my krib pair, rummies, kuhli loaches, cories. Maybe a pair of rams instead.

Black or blue background??

Great deal! As far as the background goes, I kinda like the idea of a blue background. So many people do black backgrounds for their tanks that it's nice to see something different. I love black, but I've thought about doing a white a or dark blue backround. Is the tank like a 37 gallon or something?

I've been thinking about trying to make a more realistic background for some time.

Maybe with a picture like this blown up to size for a cichlid tank of something....

just attached the black background, and I really like it alot. I'll have to try the blue tomorrow but I'm feeling the black. added a couple plants. So what do ya think rams or kribs?
