I didn't see this post, I'm sorry for not responding any sooner! I didn't think people still commented or cared about this thread.

But 12.50 for a CPO is freakishly cheap! People need to jump on that :-)

I haven't had the need for new blood yet but I'll definitely keep that in mind for future purposes. Thanks for the heads up! I appreciate it

And you definitely need to get some CPOs from him for your personal collection. Best crayfish, ever! (I'm biased of course, hehehe)

oh i fully intend on it. im just trying to get the cash first. rent is more important.

i plan on getting 10. 3m 7f . im putting them in either a 3ft 30gal or a 3ft 40gal(breeder)... maybe in a 29gal but thats short.

btw ive been directing people to your thread. it is the only good cpo journal ive found

My last female of the original trio that I first started with, past away a few days ago. I'm sad that my originals are all dead now. But at least they left me lots of young to keep their legacy alive! :-D

http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/member.php?u=81695Yadokari, are you offering any up for sale? If so, how much are they and how much for shipping? I currently keep the shufeldtii's, but I already have a 20 gallon tank ready for CPO's. I'm ordering a couple through my LFS, but they can sex them or anything and they're $15 each.

I have a young batch of babies available in this thread: http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=200950

But in terms of sexed pairs, I am not selling any right now. I only have a few sexually active/mature CPOs and I plan on keeping those for my breeding stock. The others are still small but can be sexed by me already. They just aren't really mature to mate yet, so I'm not selling those at this time.

$15 at a LFS seems incredibly cheap though, especially for a LFS. Are they sure they're CPOs? :-O

The LFS is selling them to me at the price they get them at. I've been a constant customer with him, so he sells to me at his price. They're sold as Orange Mexican Dwarf Crayfish.

Ah, that price makes sense then! Orange Mexican Dwarf Crayfish sounds about right :-)
I do know that the rarer types of inverts like CPOs, Blue Tiger Shrimp, CRS (of high grade) come up in wholesaler lists every now and then. Usually very expensive though.

I just checked your sale thread and you're CPO's are even cheaper. :)

Do you happen to offer Blue Tigers as well? My wife and I are looking to start those in a couple of months...
