Yet, none of this is in your post............

You implied that you had soft water and your pH was going down:

As I told you... it was bait. I never, ever post a questoin or comment in aquaria forums without a ton of factual information to help those who are giving me answers. This post was over-generalized purely for your benefit.

You'd better start checking out the aquatic plant forum for som info. So, what exactly is wrong with your pH? Which one is it? Too high or too low? Based on what you're saying about it you don't really seem to know. But, then again, water chemistry is Greek to you.

Again... as to water chemistry and the "Greekness" of it, look up "ruse".
My pH holds steady at 6.8-7.0.

And I am not likely to take advice on plants and CO2 from someone who just in September posed the questions you had about air stones, algae, CO2, and fertilizer. As confused as you seem about something as simple as how to control algae, you best just answer questions about the cuteness of airstones...

Oh no FAIR!!!! I would LOVE to hear the opinions of others on this.

Yeah, okay.....bait. And if I didn't answer, someone else would have. What then? Attack them?

So, what's the problem? Those parameters are fine for the shrimp and the plants. Unless your hardness is really low, almost negligable, it's not affecting your shrimp. I wasn't posting anything concerning your plants. Your post wasn't about your plants. It was about your shrimp. Again, your levels are fine. If it was a ruse, it was a foolish one since nothing I have said is wrong regarding the health of your shrimp.

Like I've said, others who know far more about planted tanks have said that I would be fine with the airstones, given my lighting. Yes, I would lose some CO2 but not all. My plants are growing fine without it and the algae "problem" I have is more cosmetic than an actual problem. It was even suggested that the airstones themselves are bringing in CO2 from the air by one poster. They could be right, they could be wrong. At least now we know where you stand on their advice.........apparently it's all wrong. Why don't you actually read the responses to the questions I've asked and look to see who they are coming from instead of bashing what I may or may not be doing?

And let's not get distracted from the fact that started this whole thing: You decided it was necessary to start bashing a kid for using bad grammar when he had a question about crayfish. You couldn't handle being knocked down a peg and it degenerated from there. And, for some reason, Pixie had to rush to your defense and make quips about my relationship, which you decided to build on. Thus far, you've been a real help to the original poster.

Actually, I responded several times with suggestions.

As to the rest of your waste of space, you are one of those people who does not know when your responses are simply digging more of a hole, substantiating your childish angry tenor.

Now, if you don't mind, I need to run out and get some crushed coral and airstones, and a book on how to control algae...

This thread is a mess. As far as I can tell, it has lost its usefulness a few pages ago. I don't mod GFW, so I can't lock it, but maybe we can just move on?
