CRAZIEST THING YOU'VE EVER FED YOUR FISH?...

i never actuall yput naything in my tank for food besides flakes brine and veggies, i guess im just afraid ill poison the tank

I found a big gross spider in my bathroom. I wanted to feed it to my betta, but I was afraid, what if the spider is poisionious? Will he bite my betta?

What about those 'daddy long leg' spiders? Are they safe?

um... i think they're poisonous aswell... i've heard they're one of the most venomous spiders, but they're fangs aren't long enough to penetrate human skin...

dont quote me on this...

read up...

"This appears to confirm the suspicion that pholcids can penetrate human skin, but that their venom is practically harmless to humans. Additionally, recent research has shown that pholcid venom is actually relatively weak in its effects on insects as well [5]."

Lol, what?! Those things that are practically everywhere can kill you?

J/k, right? :eek3:   :headbang2:

so what kind of spiders can I feed my betta and corys then?

fed a hershey bar to crabs in Bermuda - think it was at tobacco bay... no, I think it was Mullet bay, sitting on the edge of the wall, breaking off pieces of chocolate and feeding it to the crabs, while drinking rum and coke... tobacco bay is where we went snorkling... Ahhhh good times :cool2:
