Crazy Science Fact

And the funny thing is when you hear of people that think we are the only planet with life !!!!!! ARE YOU FRICKIN KIDDING ME !!!!!!!! ?????????? :) It would be so cool to just get a glimpse of another planet that has life and see what they are all about .

I think the theory behind the collider being able to rip open the continuum is a bunch of **** if you ask me. The most it would be able to do IMHO is set off a nuclear detenation ripping a whole in the earth not space and time.

now your just scaring people!

somthing else to think about is when they say there are more stars than sand, you forget about all the planets there must be in the universe

I already mentioned that Mr Magic :silly:

Not all stars have planets. There are far more stars in the Universe than planets.

to me either claim is relatively absurd, but personally considering we have no proof of life on any other planets, the one that is far less absurd is the one that says there is only life on this planet.

How about this one... There are about 70 stars in our galaxy for every person on Earth.

If each star has an average of 4 planets, then each person on Earth should get to name 280 other planets.

Here's another one. The number of carbon atoms in 6 grams (that's 1/5th of an ounce) of charcoal dwarfs the number of stars in the known universe.

I would never be absurd enough to think we are the only life in existence. Since the size of the universe or universes are unknown, then too is the possibility of life existing beyond our known limits. To think we are the only life forms, to me is pure arrogance and narrow-minded. The possibility of other life forms need not be human or by anything we have labeled or discovered thus far. Though maybe not probable, one needs to be open to the possibility that life does exists elsewhere. If we close our minds to the possibility, we have assured ourselves of never finding any. If we do not dream and envision, we do not discover.

Well, I can tell you one thing. There arent 4 planets for every star. There probably aren't .01 planets for every star. The second one you said was cool though.
