They guy at my LFS does special orders for some rich folks in the area, where a colector has to go into the ocean and find the fish in question to aquire it. One time the collector told him, "I couldn't get the fish, we spotted a boat with a 50calibre machine gun out front that was coming for us and had to run for it!!!" He assumed it was drug smugglers, but it could have been pirates.125gJoe said:

I think someone already said this but, I knew that piracy was still happening to smaller vessels. I was shocked to learn that they had robbed a cruise ship. I sure am glad I wasn't on that cruise.
But if the pirates family lived in the US, they could sue you for killing or injuring thier relative. And if the boat was not to code, and they got hurt while boarding, you could get sued for that too.125gJoe said:
