Is there anywhere I can have a custom built aquarium built for me? I just to get the right dimensions for the fish and can't find any in stores with the right ones.

If you do some research and find out your dimentions and glass specs you can go to a glass shop and have them build you an aquarium. They will usually build anything you want for a price, but you will need all the specks because they will not know better and most will not want any liability for giving advice.

Glass cages .com Is waht I would reccomend as well. I do own two of their tanks, and will be buying more in the future.

Another thumbs up for glass cages also. If your lucky and there is a show they are attending near you, they bring the tank there and you will save the shipping costs.

If you have a local indepent salt-water place, call 'em up and ask them if they can recommend anyone in the area. Marine places especially seem to end up needing oddly shaped and sized tanks for their display and propagation needs and will generally know if there's anyone available locally.

That's how we found the place that will be building our 140 gallon tank in Arizona.

Hmmm not really interested in the acrylic tanks, cuz they are more expensive and you need a stand supporting the top and bottom of it. This glasscages.com though is not responding my emails and it's been 6 days now, and over that it wont' respond to telephone either, and yes I called during business hours. This sucks, they are coming to my city but that's not until september and I want it soon before school starts :/

The glass shop is a good case, but what do I need to tell them on the type of glass necessary for an aquarium? Also if a glass shop makes it, can I still find a hood for it? Cuz I need a 36L and 16 W hood with light.
