I also want to mention that no LFS in their right mind would take in fish with some sort of fungus on them...

use the cheaper ones. then it won't be such a waste when they die.

Feeder fish are usually kept in poor conditions and a lot of them have diseases that may not be immediately apparent. They're not meant to live long. So, you could possibly be starting your tank out with disease in it when you finally add the fish you want to keep. Just something to consider..
