dear water company...

have you conversed with anyone else in your area about this? perhaps there are more cases of illness because of the water...

we talked to a guy who lives up the street, but he didnt change his water when we did. but hes keeping an eye out

thanks for all the sympathy guys. and the info. the pleco in my avatar was the only one who was affected and survived.

well i guess my cories liked the water change. wierdos. i came home and my bf announces he thought he saw the peppered cories doing the deed. i looked into the tank to find a few eggs on the glass. all of them are going nuts. and as i watched, my brochis deposited a few eggs as well.

w00t!

What county or area do you live in btw? I live in the 909 area code and my water hasnt changed one bit, smell/taste or fish behavior.

riverside county. i checked with my boss because he lives in a different area, but he hasnt noticed any problems either

i got up this morning and noticed that all of the eggs were gone.

but, my bf just got home and called me to let me know that there are over 100 eggs all over the glass and plants and hes a little annoyed that the cories made such a mess *giggles*

*sigh* now if work would just be over so i can try to hatch some of the eggs

hooray! my boss just gave me his old r/o system and i saved about 50 eggs. they look yellowy. keep your fingers crossed :)

Fingers crossed! Good luck to you!:D

i found another bunch. i think theres close to 100 eggs now
