Disprove Global Warming!!!

Indeed, that would make most topics on how to deal with fish as "political" matters! LOL

Climate change ITSELF is not political. It has been very POLITICISED by politicians and lobbyists unfortunately.


UNFORTUNATELY I've found one's political affiliation often lends to one's belief or disbelief in climate change and man's involvement thereof.

I agree with Wycco about humans contributing to the expansion of deserts. Tropical rainforests are a classic example. Slash and burn agriculture techniques result in a very fertile soil that can be farmed. But only a few years. When the nutrients are used up the farmer moves on but the forest is unable to recolonize the area. The remaining land bakes in the sun and hardens.
The problem is, tropical rain forests have thin soil consisting of decaying organic matter. It is constantly replenished by the lush plants that die and return to the soil. But when you remove the tropical forests and farm the land there is nothing left to replenish the substrate. The soil hardens and becomes impervious to rain or plant establishment.

But man released CO2 causing global warming is another subject.

really, seriously, stop the panic the media would get bored if they didnt have a story like global warming to go back to after celebrity scandals, and murders and death.
global warming is just made up because there was a happy moment in the world and the media couldnt let us have that...

Actually- that would depend on where in the world you are.

The earth is closest to the sun in January. (Southern Hemisphere summer).
