DIY CO2 recipe for 20oz bottles

I may have finally run into the folks who can help me via experience.
I have a small space available in the area below my tank.
In the area is a wet/dry and the 2nd chamber of the sump is a freshwater refugium with plants and aeration.
I can set up a DIY 2 liter bottle CO2 generator.
How do I "tap" the lid and induce the CO2 into the 2nd chamber of my sump?

Using DIY CO2, you won't be able to get good levels in your tank using the wet/dry. Using a pressurized system you could really pump up the amount going into the second chamber of the sump, enough so that it keeps the tank around 20-30ppm before it hits the wet/dry. With DIY, it won't be able to build up enough.
I'm talking about the water you rehydrate the yeast in. If you are using bread yeast, that water needs to be very close to 107 deg F.
ok...so before i begin...bear with jm...preciate the assistance. I should mix my sugar in water that is about 105. pour a shot glass full and hydrate at 105. then when all added and mixed I can add the bottle to the pan of water which is sitting at 84.

To make sure: you add the yeast to that 105 deg shot glass and let it sit for 5 minutes. Lightly drop the yeast into the water, don't stir, just let them sit. After 5 minutes, give a small stir, and pour into your bottle of sugar water.
