Okay, here are the questions! I'm attaching pictures... because I am clueless as to how to go about this.. this is what my stuff looks like. What's next?

Take it apart so I can see what kind of mounts you have to work with. You don't actually need to unhook wires at this point, just take out the screws and lift out the fixture.

Okay well.. I don't really want to go messing it up so that I have no light.. I'll see what i can do

Totally up to you...doing this method will not cause your existing light to not work, but you should be familiar with how it is wired if you need to put it back together. This isn't for everyone.

And just to add, I've never done anything like this before (other than building computers with minimal customization), and I needed to do a lot of research to get comfortable with the idea...so that is where you really need to start, if you are uncomfortable.

Do those show you anything??... I unscrewed 6 screws that were holding the reflector part onto the black casing.

Okay, that's not bad, you have a lot of room to work with. The only thing is, you will need a different way of mounting the sockets because those mounts are too far apart and not positioned very well for this application. Same thing with my 28g light strip...I need to find a different solution...most likely mounting using some kind of lifter and silicone. I should have this one done by Wednesday or Thursday. When I do this next one I'll take more pics of the process so it should be easier for you and about the same, just on a larger scale for yours.

Take measurements of your strip so I know how many sockets and lights will be going into yours. Length should be enough.
