Where are my shades :)

It should meet any sensible watts per gallon rule.

My 55gal has two of those, but only houses a pleco and a small Oscar, no plants, so I only need lights to see the fish. Thats enough light for some serious plant growing.

783W of total light over a 125g tank?

The algae is going to be really pretty. There is no way the few plants that you have in there are going to come close to out-competing it.

I'm confused about something... I've never seen a 27w CFL bulb. This would lead me to think that it's the CFL equivalent of 27w incandescent. Which would actually put each bulb at about 150w actual CFL lighting. Is there a flaw in my thinking? hehe, there usually is...

If I'm right though, holy cow!
