So, I decided to try building a glass tank. Well, I already have 6 tanks and my parents weren't thrilled with the idea of more :wall:

So I decided to make a small tank... one that I could make out of a 12"x16" 'replacement sheet' of glass, It'll fit on my desk, and they're okay with that :headbang2:

So then it dawned on me, I could make TWO tanks out of that piece of glass! :grinyes: I like complex things!

So I'm going to make two TINY tanks, to me planted... probably no fauna, but MAYBE a small pond snail or (in the bigger one) a small shrimp.

Here's the plans. Paper and marked onto the glass. My sister is way into art, and has cut glass, so she's going to do that for me on Friday. I'll let everyone know when that's done!

So here's the pictures :)

So that's how the glass will be cut (and the order of cutting since you have to cut glass all the way across...) Tank #1 will be around .4 gallons and tank #2 will be .1 gallons, I think...

And looking at this, I realized that I took off for the width of the glass on the sides AND front and backs... Okay, I'll just redo those bits :P Everything else looks good to me :)

Anyone see and problems? Anyone done this before and want to give me some tips? Thanks!
