Hi everyone,

I recently (2 weeks ago) bought a pair of Apistogramma Borelli and added then to my community Tank, (Neon-Tetras, Amanos). They were a lot smaller on pickup and had no color. They were rather territorial and fought each other every now and then. But they are evenly matched and no one is simply bullying the other. That is why I thought I had accidentally bought 2 males. But now they are not coloring up blue but rather getting more female-like, day by day. So I I think I might have 2 females. Can anyone confirm?

I would be very happy about any Responses.

I think they're too small to tell yet. Young cichlids often look female-ish, but I may see a longer pointy anal fin in some pics...

Your tank looks very nice!

Thank you!
Yeah, they are still very young. I will wait another month and see. If they havent changed then I think they should both be females. To be honest that would be the Ideal Situation. I could just add another, older, male.
