Do Otos and Corys do better in groups? I have 2 otos and 1 cory. How many of each should I have to keep them happy?
Currently I have the following stock:

55g

4 mollies
6 guppies
8 rasbora
3 ADF
2 otos
1 cory
1mystery snail

Wow...I don't think I have room for that many in my tank! What is the minimum recommended?

cories i think u should get like 5 more or so and otos get like 3 or 5 more

I am not even sure what type of cory he is. My sister gave him to me last week when she traded her fresh water tank in for a salt water. He sure is cute.
One of my otos has been schooling with the rasbora. It is so funny to watch him joining in as they zip around. That is what made me realize he might need a group of his own.
I still haven't gotten a firm grasp on how many are too many when it comes to stocking my 55g. I always stuck with the 10 inches of fish for the 10g tank I used to have. I know now that that is not a hard fast rule, but how much is too much?

well, smaller fish=smaller waste usually. its pretty much only for the small fish that the 1" rule should apply.
you also need to take into account the swimming room your fish need and instead of the size they are now, the size they will be when full grown.
you will be fine adding more otos and corys.

id also add on to the school of rasboras. youd be fine doing that too, and itd look much cooler. i have rasboras and otos too n i luv em:)
