yeah, I know. he asked, and I just answered....Dangerdoll said:snails also poop though.
of course you do, because most tap water has things like chloramine and clhorine that can be fatal to fish.Jay223 said:so when i change like 30 percent of my water do i have to put that chemical stuff in that makes tap water be good water for fish.

I love it!!!TheZoo said:theres a "fish" called a Gravel Vacuum that sucks up poop. Get one.
well said, plah. that goes double from me!plah831 said:I love it!!!
Jay, you cannot get fish or animals to make your job easier. An algae eater or "poop-eater" is not going to make up for frequent tank cleanings and water changes. YOU NEED TO DO THOSE YOURSELF!!! For algae, scrape it off and perhaps reduce feedings. For poop, siphon and do water changes. It's that easy.
When you purchased your 55 gal, you signed up for a responsibility. Whether you like it or not, those animals are depending on you now for everything. Not just food and space, but clean water, good quality of life, and adequate social structure.
I'm sorry to get preachy, but I am tired of your countless posts and threads, that sound to me like you're trying to take the easy way out. Well guess what? There is no easy way out when it comes to an aquarium or other pets.
