Snow's OK until there's nowhere left to pile it.... this pile is extending into about 1/4 of the street as well...

We never have snow where i live...

NO WAY! I live in Alaska and after the first 5-6 months of the stuff, it becomes quite annoying! 2 feet in one night is an average, and I personally am tired of getting up in the AM to shovel that much! Were even running out of places to put the stuff. So snow is cool for the first few moonths, but after that, yall can have it! :p At least we have the northern lights to keep us sane during the winters here!

You know, I grew up in San Diego, CA and moved to Minnesota about 3 and a half years ago. The first 3 years I really loved the snow, but I'm pretty well tired of it now. I never did get the hang of driving in it (my truck got completely sideways on me the first time I went to the grocery store, and I was being SO careful...) and it interferes with my hiking and camping and fishing. If winter were about 2 months long, that would be great, because I really do love the separate seasons here, and it's nice to be cozy and warm while it snows outside, but only for a while. I discovered the hard way that going camping in April isn't good even if the snow has been off the ground for a few weeks, because the ground is still frozen. Ground should never be frozen, at least not anywhere I happen to be living. I was a popsicle by morning, and that was with a -15 degree rated sleeping bag. :(

I think snow would be fine in some state where you get a few pretty snowfalls each winter with a nice 25 degree average. Not a snow/ice/snow/ice layer cake on the sidewalks that wait for you as you step outside to go to work in the morning, with wind whipping by, bringing the temp down to neg 35 windchill, the only part of you showing to the outside world is your eyes peeking out above your scarf and below your hat or hood. Never, EVER leave home w/out some tissues in your pocket or purse, because your nose runs constantly in that temperature, oh and don't forget to buy lotion by the gallon because of the dry winter air. UGH! C'mon Spring, hurry up and get here!

you have got to be kidding ! i'm in a wheelchair living in Alaska and it right out frigg'n sucks although it is beautiful, but being immobile for 7-8 months out of the year can get to ya.

It was 78 deg f here in michigan yesterday, ahhhhh what a relief,we even had a cookout!!!
Yes my friends,I think spring has finally sprung!!!
