Do you stare at your tank??

yes must admitt i been caught few times lying on the floor with torch checking my sump out!! but people that dont have tank dont understand dont you think! my sister comes over she thinks its all boring! i mean boring! its anything but boring!
someone was asking me if i was having a night out at weekend i said no rather go to lfs and spend money on corals they thought i was mad!!
and the freak me! has been known to sneak about in pjs with torch staring at tank so much my eyes go funny! its even more great at night in the dark!!

my family always used to tell me why you have a big tank instead of smaller tank and now i recently caught my dad staring at my tank for good 2 mins while watching tv. lol. they complain too much but when we have family dinner, they love it!

I don't want to have to have people move it, no way :)
No you don't. Move it once. Trust me. I suckered three friends to help me move mine with promises of food and beer.:headbang2:
I stare at my tank quite a bit, but not for hours. I will spend more time when I have a nice comfy set of chairs in front of it.
Everyone who comes over stares at it also. Even with only eleven fish.

i find i stare to kill time, and i normally regret it bcos it kills too much time.

you know that last 4 minutes the item your biddin on has left to sell.....so u glance over at the tank, and refresh and it sold 10 minutes ago!! argghh

and now i never moan when the ads come on TV.

and i dont mind restartin my PC, all stare time!!

my friends and family used to think its weird, but once they were educated about live rock, and the shrimps cleaning, the clown hosting and the xenia pulsing, they were all hooked! even my mrs has the odd stare, and she always calls me at work to tell me the "the gobies chucking up sand or the torch is doing a crap, etc, so she must be a private starer!

The only reason I sometimes regret staring at my tank is because I often feel the sudden urge to rescape. Which means not only moving the rocks, but adding some "color" by buying corals XD

The bigger the fish, the longer I stare. There's something about large fish gliding through the water that holds my attention.

lol its good that you have standards. All it takes is a new piece of live rock in my tank and I could stare for a while looking for hitchhikers.

Same here. Infact my wife said that I can't move anything for two weeks. I have been put on rescaping restriction! It's for the best though, I just can't get it perfect and I was starting to stress the fish. No corals here, but I am on the "add one fish per week" program..
