Guess we are a collection of freaks then! I have 4 in my home/office, 1 in kitchen, 2 in living room, and the rest in the basement. You can't go anywhere without seeing a tank and being able to stare a one.
For me, the calmness of the fish helps me greatly to avoid seizures. So I watch them for great lengths. Trickling water, calm fish swimming: it doesn't get any better than that!
Heh. Mine's on the end of my desk. Instead of doing work, my eyes drift. Happens to my boyfriend when he tries to sit there too. I accuse him and then he denies it. Who can resist a pretty tank?
My biggest vent was my drum set a year ago... Now that I'm in college and live in an apartment I can't keep it... It's stored in my parents basement. My vent now is to just lay in my bed and stare at my fish. It really calms me down and I feel relaxed. My room is also my work place so when I'm working on drawings I take breaks to stare... It really helps out my work.
