Does Keeping fish have any health benefits?

I love the big group of them! They'll be my big tank's fish when I actually put in fish & learn to close the lid.

So what's with the zebra pleco? Stuffed toy or plastic? Husband has threatened to give away my 4ft catfish pillow a few times. It used to hang over a tank but he hid it in a closet. I even showed it to him before I bought it many years ago.

Back to health & fish. My fingernails tend to "delaminate" (top layers flake off) from being in water so much.

Super cute dougall!! Do you tease your cats with them? Our CA ceilings are too high to hang my catfish, maybe from wall brackets but we can't get above any tanks easily now. Maybe over the fireplace...

There is a couple who I have met a few times doing weekend events. They have an assortment of "stuffed" fish. They make them in different sizes. I also have their wormline pleco one. I am not sure, but I think this is them

So, is that "other black & white, not zebra" pleco a L173 or L236? or what? There's some artistic license allowed of course...You're the pleco man TTA, what say you? I'm gonna guess L236 but not a firm vote, I bow to the master!

I would differ on your "pettable" fish idea. When I grew up very small discus they hand fed 6 times/day, no repeat meals in 24 hours. They would let me "cup" them in my hand if I had food or even rub against my fingers...begging? Very spoiled for sure. I made seafood & beef heart foods for them...

I have heard of but never kept weather loaches. They also sound like pettable fish too. Someday I hope to keep them! I love my bottom feeders!

panda gara will crawl into your hand if you work on the aquarium. Nothing scares them off....

If you want to touch fish/animals I suggest Garra rufa for freshwater, or cleaner shrimp for saltwater.

I had panda garras once, they were not shy but not "pettable" or "cupable" either. I may have missed out, sniffle.
