DONT GO GREEN

I agree that I dislike the fact of recycling and being eco-friendly is 'cool' all of a sudden when I've already been doing it for a few years. I disagree with your opinion that people should not start changing their lifestyles in order back-peddle the messes we've made. hippies are not all bad. I agree with some of their viewpoints, but in general do disagree with them.

I just try to do my part to cut down on the landfills etc. It is the least I can do for my grandchildren.....I think everyone should do their part, but not get obsessed and be obnoxious- and this world might be a better place..........JMO

sure businesses try to be popular by advertising their greeness in some annoying ways but that doesn't mean you shouldn't adjust you lifestyles in little ways to save you money and the earth. Going green is be a good thing, just do it in the ways that suit your lifestyle. You don't have to to install solar panels to go green, it's the little things that count...

I think They said it best...there are some things that are worth doing, but for the most part...well, they said it best :P

What's wrong with it becoming commercialized? It just means that the changes are affecting a wider market and it ensures the idea becomes part of the general culture. The more we are reminded of the consequences of our actions, the better IMO.

its not recycling is going to kill anyone.

persoanlly i have doubts that the earth is really going to end as we know it if we dont all switch to hybrids, change all of our bulbs to CFL's, and buy only organic foods. i also am noy convinced that carbon has a big impact...i think its something like 383 ppm of the air is carbon. thats 383/1,000,000 particles.

this doesnt even consider the fact that CFL's really arent that green; they all contain mercury. hybrids arent really great either, since their batteries are filled with [Ni]H+, bad for the environment.

There are LED light's but i really don't know if airpowered cars have safe batteries or not...
