For those of you who don't know, saturns are plastic! Magnet no stick!

I know that not all 16 Y/O drivers are dangerous. It took me until I was 19 to become dangerous. It stopped when I was 20. Stopping from 110 to 0 in 4' is NOT fun. Then, to top it all off, I had to walk 5 miles to get to a phone! Needless to say, I drive VERY carefully now! I was d@mn lucky to be able to walk away from it. Course, the 2 mangled deer was what got me out of a ticket.....The officer knew that I was going faster than 50, but didn't give me a ticket...mostly because of what I went through. Well, that and there were allmost 15' of slide marks. His comment, "well, I think you were going faster than your supposed 50....but, I can only measure 15' of marks. Your car stopped 4' after you went in the ditch. For all I know you could have been doing 20....but, that doesn't explain how your car got on to its side...."

Only good ones have a 403.......Well, maybe a 350 rocket too, but no chebby motor in it. Chebby motor in a cutlass is junk......
 
The cones for what? Parallel parking? If that's it, I certainly don't recall, it was probably something like 10 feet, which is pretty easy.

No rolling stops at a stop sign
and
Slow down in park zones.

My first (and only, so far) ticket has been for not displaying my "N" which is some stupid green magnet with a big fat N on it showing you are a New Driver. I battled that one in court cuz the cop wanted me to pay 115$! For not having a magnet on my car! Sheesh eh? hehe

Hah, i think the whole "N" notion is so stupid. Haven't they changed the rules now? You have to have your "L" for 18 months. WHen you get your "N" you can only have 1 passenger, unless its family or some stupid crap like that? And you can't drive late at night or something??

It's all in the family... the chevy 350 has been arround in some form or another for over 50 years. Since its all GM there is a lot of parts sharing. the 442 has a 350 or 400 GM block, the same one as the chevy. My brother has a saturn. When the taillight went out I looked at his rundown 70 blazer. Guess what, 30 years later GM uses the same taillight bulb.
 
I just had my first drivers ed class today and it was 4 hours long and they showed us some videos of fatal car accidents and it was pretty graphic and it showed alot of dead bodies and I guess that is to scare you so you will drive safely. In Ohio the legal blood alchohol level was .10 and now it is .08 and if you are under 21 then the level is .02 and is stupid because if you are under 21 then you are not allowed to buy or drink alcohol and how can your bac be .02 if your aren't allowed to drink it>????

MAybe it is to take into account other sources of alcohol like cough medicine or mouthwash :laugh:
