Dropped bagged fish on the floor!

Good luck, I hope he's alright! I dropped my new BN plec on the floor after acclimation (stuck to bag) & after 2 weeks I decided he's ok. I panicked & scooped him up with a cereal box cardboard.

Glad to hear that you other folks who have dropped fish didn't have problems afterwards!

I have him in a tank with the lights out.
I have noticed the he is usually leaning to one side or the other when I look in on him.
Is that abnormal?

Fallen Angel...lol.. it should be fine, GL
:evil_lol::evil_lol::evil_lol::evil_lol: Good one!

Good luck with your fish. It hasn't happened to me. Yet. I'll be sure to try to remember not to hold the bag that way!

good luck, hope the angel fish does ok. :) my kids were "helping" me bring in a bag of live brine shrimp and dropped it on the floor which was carpet over concrete w/out great padding. It promptly exploded brine shrimp everywhere. The rub........ carpet and shrimp were same shade.
AAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

Hah, now that's a bummer!^

I don't think I have ever dropped a bag of fish, but just the other day I was acclimating a betta in its cup & it jumped into the sink while I was emptying a little bit of water from the cup.

A couple of years ago I had a swordtail tank in my bedroom. One night, a few minutes after I turned the lights off to go to sleep, I thought I heard an odd noise near the tank. I turned on the light again to go check, and my 2.5" female swordtail had jumped from the tank. I was surprised I heard that with an Aquaclear power filter running, since a fish that small jumping out of the tank is barely audible. Who knows, maybe it was more of an intuition thing....
