nope they go just like cherry shrimp.. Online sources say the mother lets go of the babies after about 3 weeks

they who? the babies before they get released? not sure will have to wait and see. Probably the size of a juvi/adult cherry shrimp.

Dwarf Cray fry are about the same size as just released cherry shrimp, except more visible. Keep in mind that even though there are a lot of fry, not all of them survive past the first molt.
