Dwarf Gourami BIG TROUBLES

Today is day 3 of no food. Should i try the peas today? and do i just cook then and toss some in there? Also should i do the salt treatment today too?

No improvement?/ His belly is still swollen?? Any lessening, any signs of improvement?

I would try the peas or anything with a fiber component (veg flakes work too). As for preping the peas, I'm not sure just mic them for a minute and let cool. That should prolly be okay. Popping them would prolly be a good idea too to help them break through the skin.

Try this, see if he eats.

He worse off today than yesterday his body is starting to U shape. I just put some peas in right next to him see if he eats.

aw nuts...been watching this thread GMan... that doesn't sound good :( sorry for your fish

No it's not sounding good at all!

The prognosis for Swim Bladder, Dropsy, and other similar ailments is bleak ...

There are meds that can be used if you can identify this, but still very difficult to treat (if at all). I would make everything that you can control as idea as possible for him and hope for the best.

I'm at an end bro; hopefuly others will have more sound advice for you!!! :(

As of 3 mins ago.

If this were my fish, I would probably euthanize at this point. I have never seen a fish come back from that bad of a bloat problem. But, that's just me. To give peas I just take frozen ones and peel them. I don't even cook them.

It may be time to make a choice of how to do it, vice when.
