ill get the fish and shrimp in this order
corys, ghost shrimp, gouramis (or replacement), blue pearl shrimp(ghost shrimp will be a test to see if i can get these)
i had an issua with miracle grow organics so tomorrow a male platy will be added to the tank to make sure its safe. ok so i need suggestons to replace the sparkling gouramis. im thinking maybe a couple of those dwarf rainbows. celebes? i was thinking maybe three, but i might do a school of nano fish like ember tetras or mosquito rasboras. pics tomorrow hopefully.

Seems kind of overstock for a 10g. Corys in the mid to bottom level and rainbows mid to top level...where are the shrimps going to go? They're going to be swimming everywhere from all that activity in the tank. I think you should just stick to one group of fish and the shrimps. Also wondering why you want to risk getting a top level fish when you want the shrimps to breed, right?
