dwarf & sparkling gourami compatibility?

i'd add a larger tank so she can have more of something,..just a thought

believe me ive tried that. i had a spare 10gal at my house and my parents went out and bought her this 5gal when her old acrylic one broke. for some reason they wont let her upgrade.

i wouldnt bother with sparkling gour tbh i had 3 only last few months expensive an short lived

That all depends on the temperament of the Dwarf kid and what you are wanting to put in with him. I think Lime is correct in what he is saying. I have a DG and a crowntail betta in a 5 gallon, however.... That was after a close and long time observation of how these two conducted themselves in community tanks. In my case, it turned out that each was miserable and afraid of the "Busy body" fish. I've had them in that for nearly a year with no issues.

I think a Cory might be a good idea if you put the snail into another tank. Or just leave it be.

You could try a docile female betta or the cories, but cories tend to get lonely by themselves and do best in atleast trios. I have two, a panda and a spotted, and plan to get them an albino buddy.
Personally, I think you should get a Panda Cory. They stay the smallest out of the group and you may be able to put two in.
