easy darts?

ok... how many cultures would i have to keep at a time for 4 darts (auratus or leucs)?
and how many flies do i have to put in at a time?
 
my mom hates crickets and wont let me use them.
i think she will take the fruit fly thing well?
that is the only thing that is keeping me from getting any more herps... she thinks they all eat crickets.
 
You don't have to culture crickets. It may be a little more expensive, but you can go to the pet store and get crickets every week to feed them. Frogs can easily go for 2 weeks without being fed, but I feed my frogs every weekend to make sure they don't go hungry.
 
these frogs need to be fed everyday!
i have no problem with culturing flies i just need to know how many cultures i need to keep and how much to put in to feed.?
my mom WILL NOT tolerate crickets!.

also if i got a different color morph of auratus than green-black, would it make and difference??? if i could only get green-black i will go with the leucs!.
 
I'd recommend against fruit flies for two reasons: They aren't as 'healthy' as crickets, and you can't dust fruit flies with calcium/D3 powder.

You could get away with 4 cultures I think.
 
why cant you dust them???
all the websites that tell you how to culture them say that you just shake 'em into a container w/powder and give 'em a little shake.

how many flies will the frogs eat a day?
 
thanks... now i have only 1 problem keeping me from doing this...... my mom.
she doesnt really want me to make anything else or have any more animals although i dont thing we have alot now... but do you gus have any ideas of what to do or say to her that would convince her to let me do this.?
