Eclipse hood

By the way I am very bad at DIY's and I have no clue How I would do it.

It is not that hard...click on my sig and look at my build thread....I am an IT manager by trade, nothing to do with DIY...Give it a go buddy...you may surprise yourself...I did with mine...

I don't know.....

hmm.... Maybe i could cut up the filter and lighting and put it on my DIY hood... well anyways good night I hope we can talk again tomorrow:)

Maybe be a little late but I modified my eclipse 3 hood to handle a protein skimmer and 130 watts of retrofitted PC lighting from sunpaq. Everything so far works great. The filter and bio wheel that came with it along with the protein skimmer that i have installed keeps my water very clear. You can cut a small section on the left side and install a skimmer. Very clean looking the way I have done it. You don't even notice that a portion was cut out... I love it but it did take some work.

I basically did what this gentlemen did. I will post my pictures later this evening. I changed the main lights as well though with 65 watt retrofit PC lighting. I also put the skimmer on the left side.
