I went into my local petsmarts last night, looking around getting some cat food and fish food, when i walk past a endcap a looked at it I saw it. It was a brand new Eheim 2028, then i check the price 69.99 with all media. :headbang2:I took it off the shelf put it in the cart and told my wife I was getting it and she could deal with it. She told me for that price it was ok. I just had to share my good fortune will all my fellow hobbyist. :dance:
 
OMG.... thats awesome... you sure petsmart didn't go coo coo with the prices?

Wouldn't surprise me, people at the registers at stores like that may have no idea how much that stuff would suppose to cost, so probably wouldn't notice if it was mis-marked.

yep that is the one, they had them marked as gone when gone, or closeout. If they would of had more I would have bought more.
 
yes closeout prices can be amazing sometimes i have found a few good deals like you did on aquarium equiptment.
