Electric Yellow & Breeding

I have seen males with not much black to their fins and whitish stomachs. And i have seen the looking females,jet black fins bright yellow, would have thought they were males unless you saw them holding.

what i'm trying to say is there isn't any 100% way of sexing these fish unless you vent them. I have seen the characteristics people say males have in females and what females and in males.

Just buy a bunch(sy 6) and you will end up with atleast some males and females.

I guess I have no option than to go and buy more of the little fishies, I'll prabably get a bigger tank too and set it up a little better than the current one. But if a male and female do breed and have little fishies, will the other male or females in the tank try to attack or eat their babies???

If the females spits in the main tank then yes most likely most of the babies will get eaten. If you want to raise the fry its best for them to have their own little tank.
