Well I'm still losing a couple fish a day out of the gray tub. The house stays around 60 degrees right now. Haven't had the heat on, but it's a pretty steady temp. The bathroom might get colder than the living room, where the pink tub is. Still haven't lost a single fish out of the pink tub. I'm just finding that very strange. What I'm noticing with the minnows in the gray tub is that they have some minor paralysis prior to keeling over. Almost like they struggle to wiggle their tails and swim. Any thoughts on that?
Back to the actual pond project though... we moved a LOT of rock today! I ended up calling and ordering an additional pallet (1.5 tons) of the medium sized flat rocks, which was a good thing. Although I'm thinking we're going to have a lot of the small ones left over... wondering if the company will take some back.... LOL. If not, I may have to find a use for an extra ton or two of small river rocks. Whee!!
