Empty 5 gallon tanks...killifish or Peacock Gundgeon

Amazon swords need to be planted in the soil, and will get much too big for your tank (I have one that fills 1/4 of a 90).

Otherwise, it sounds ok. If you're doing a fishless cycle, you'll need to provide a source of ammonia. If you let the plants establish and show signs of growth before adding anything, they'll take care of the ammonia (you'll want to test to be sure, and do extra water changes as needed).

A sponge, or you can divide up the ceramic media and squeeze out the sponges into the new tank to transfer a colony of the beneficial microorganisms.

For killifish--yes, one type per tank. While the males look very different, the females are often incredibly similar, so much so that males can't tell them apart either, so you end up with cross breeding. Now...for some, this doesn't matter, since they just want the fish to look pretty in their tank, but with killies, you can usually sell fry, and the price they will bring depends very much on knowing the collection information and 'purity' of that strain (ie, knowing they haven't mixed with other collection locations or strains). There are tank bred strains, and it's not as critical for those. So that's one option for fry--to sell them at fish club auctions or online. If you haven't already, check the American Killifish Association web page--they have tons of good information, including sources for eggs.
