I have an empty 2.5 gallon with a red sea nano filter. My question is if an endlers would be okay in a 2.5 gallon environnement? Please help.

sure, you could do a trio in there. just be aware that you must get all males if you don't want fry.

But, could i just keep one?

they much prefer groups, and may waste away if kept alone.

I know I may sound a little crazy, but could I house one male betta with him?

you mean them, and no. it could house either a trio of endlers, or a betta.

No, bettas do best in at least 5 gallons.
this is also true.

ok thanx, what about a fire shrimp or a ghost shrimp with a betta?

well, it's a hit-and-miss thing. some bettas eat them, some leave them alone. i'd try a ghost before a cherry.
