Expensive fish

The most I've spent on a fish is a Blue Parrot. It looks like a Blood Parrot Cichlid in the shape of the body, but has black vertical strips and is of a colour of blue. That was about $20.

wow Dkarc, that discus is very unique ive nver seen one like that before

I agree. What does it taste like?

Sorry, couldn't resist. But I've always thought discus looked like they were just the right shape to fit on a hamburger bun :P

Mine was going to be £50 (GBP) for a Mbu puffer or £70 for a dwarf stingray.

I changed my mind and the most expensive fish was my African Knife fish for £8.99 :)

I pretty sure it wasn't dyed, it seems like a hybrid (from the pictures I've seen, it is like a Texas cichlid or a Convict, but that's just me)... Anyways, here's a picture of it before I gave it away because it was getting aggressive. It (I'm not sure of the gender) had sparkling spots near its caudal fin. And it's swimming pattern is the same as that of the Blood Parrot cichlid, with it's open mouth and large round eyes. There is a tint of red on the dorsal and caudal fins (from what I remember).

yea. that one is mixed with something else. I thought you were talking about one of those bright blue ones they sell.
That is a cool looking fish actually lol....

Dkarc...that is an AMAZAING fish...most people dont understand the $1500, but now I can see why...especially if it was part of his breeding stock...did you also get the mate?
