External inline CO2 diffuser......which one ?!?!?

.......The 2nd inline diffuser that you listed has an air stone to break up the bubbles which then mixes with the water and goes into the tank.

the atomizer has a air stone in the middle that chops up the bubbles even more which allows even more effective mixing.
So they're practically the same...

Well went ahead and bought one of the atomizers. Got it for 23.99 free shipping and its a seller in New York, not China. Pretty excited to get that bulky power head out of my tank.
Where did you get it from....link ?!?!?

I just put CO2 atomizer in on ebay and a ton of things came up. I bought the cheapest one.

I can't seem to find any sellers from NY...all of them are from HK.....

Could you please go to your My eBay and check the one you just bought and post the link ?!?

Thanks.

This might be a stupid question and I'm missing something glaringly obvious, but how do you know how much CO2 is going in to the atomizer?

Is this supposed to be MORE efficient than my homebuilt Rex Grigg style reactor made from PVC piping?

short answers is probably not. the rex grigg reactor is very effective. The only problem i have with it is if you need to increase your co2 because you have tons of plants and need to bring up your ppm sometimes this can be a problem with these reactors. When your co2 rate is too high for the reactor then you get too much co2 in reactor and it fills with more gas than water. This causes very bad co2 mixing and you will have to build a bigger reactor to deal with the increasing co2 demand.

This isn't the case for the atomizer I just find it easier. The one draw back which has been discussed is the fog that it produces. Some people don't like it. I personally like it.
