I just picked up Avenged Sevenfolds new City of Evil album, pretty good. If you've never heard them, think something like hardcore punk, and their songs are REEEEEALLY long (one track is 8 min 45 secs)
 
I like oldies. But the best music on EARTH, hands down, is bluegrass. Im not joking either. Fav. band is The Special Consensus and song? Tough, I like them all.

Ministry
Cathedral
Coal Chamber
Pantera
Godhead
Testament (Alex Skolnick is a guitar god, but they have a new lead player now)
Sevendust (liked their first album anyway)
Machinehead

I'll stop there I guess. I also like the classic stuff like Zeppelin, The Stones, etc. and some country like Johnny Cash and Hank jr.

...Avenged Sevenfolds earlier stuff was much better i think mostly the singin ... IDK if anyone has mentioned them but i love the Eagles great stuff
