Green Day has no talent to speak of. Their music is MTV trash as far as I'm concerned.

Sounds like he was trying to emulate Jim Morrison in an attempt to elevate his status. He can't compare to a rock legend no matter how hard he tries!

my favourite is "Get Up Offa That Thing" woot i feel excited just thinking about it :bday: :joke:

I won't defend green day since they sold out big time, but their first albums 38 smooth and kerplunk is good music. I used to like them till every album after dookie was worse than the last. after that, it all went downhill and I lost a lot of respect for them.
 
Too bad grunge is dead....and got commercial...and they all died or almost died or overdoses....yeah.... :(

Never cared for them, but they did bring grunge mainstream.


I think that about Sublime...RIP Brad.

While I will admit they arn't my favorite and some of the music was a little depressing I really liked most of it.
