Female Dempsey Pics?

I getting conflicting info on how to Sex fish of this nature when I see large one... is it possible for yall to post pics of your FEMALE Dempsey?
 
males will have a limited amount of speckled scales on the gills, and the females will have more

Here is my breeding pair.
The Male is the Electric Blue Jack Dempsey.
The female in the normal Dempsey on the right.
See how she has the blue on her gill plates.

darn....all thats avail here is males then...I got a huge male...no Female.

same here, my male is 13 inches, i want to get him a mate badly, but havn't seen any female at all

i got a call from the LFS that they got some adults in, so hopefully there will be at least one female, wish me luck! LOL
 
females once mature are shorter and rounder. Males tend to be longer and skinnyer. Dempseys are hard to sex under 3in. their colors change towards maturity and their bodies fill out.

The color on the gill plate is a sure fire way to tell. Notice the male has a small amount or dots and the female has a lot of blotches. I have a gorgeous female who is coloring up nicely. It wasn't that hard to find a female up here. I get her at Petco. Up here petco always has a nice mix of males and females.
 
i finally got one yesterday, around 7 inches, first female is have seen in a while here
 
oh there a cichlid, well i no nothing about cichlids exept that they eat small fish like Kuhli Loaches
