I never had a rtc. Last rtc I owned was in March.

so... is that a yes? or a no...

so confusing... :wall:

Jpappy asked if you were still looking for a home for the arowana and RTC... you said (and i quote): "YES DUH!". that would be indicative that you are looking for a home for an RTC, which means you HAVE one.

The only rtc cat I have is a mix. So No its not a rtc. And I was thinking about rehoming my rtcxtsn and arowana but have decided not to.

well if its a RTC hybrid dosent that mean it can get as big as an rtc? who knows the RTC genes could be dominate

Red Tailed Catfish clearly grow too large for the typical home aquarium and are exceptionally difficult to rehome anywhere due to their large and predatory nature. Taking on an animal of this size in the expectation of rehoming is not responsible fishkeeping.

Meanwhile this thread does not concern those fish.

Coler gets a warning for going off topic and an official 'go sit in the corner you bad baaaaaaad boy'. Hopefully others will learn from his experience.

PROVE IT!!! I never said I had a rtc. I never had a rtc. Last rtc I owned was in March. He got traded to the springfield Museum. Maybe your talking about my 2 rtc hybrids. RTCXTSN, RTCXMARBLEDPIM

Hybrid or not those things get far too big for 100 gallons.

I know why are we talking about RTCS(which I don't even have) when this thread is about severums.

In a way this mini-convo is concerned with your new sevs. The point is that you are buying new fish instead of invested in the fish that you already have. It's been mentioned hundreds of times in your threads and yet you still don't seem to understand.

*Jpap joins Coler in his corner...*

as Jpappy said your severums health is at risk because of your stock were trying to help you straighten out you tanks so your fish will grow to there full potential and live to be happy and healthy

any room for one more coler?

Anyone who has so far questioned BFK's stocking / plans to upgrade etc should go attempt having a conversation with the wall in Colers corner.

A quick search will find multiple threads that begin with "I got a new fish" and then lead onto the same advice about needing a bigger tank, quit buying fish until you get an upgrade, etc etc and its always ignored.

Good looking fish. What is the fascination with these? I have noticed many ppl owning or talking about them and saying how great they are.

:thm: And if I only had the time to point out the multiple threads where within a day, BFK has posted conflicting information about his setups and then says "No I didn't say that" when someone calls him on it, even when they have directly quoted the conflicting posts. :liar:

Well, as you said, they are really good looking fish, and there are many varieties/colors to choose from. They get big but not enormous, and most are aggressive enough to hold their own with other big cichlids, yet laid back enough to get along with smaller, peaceful tankmates (as long as they're too big to fit in the sev's mouth, obviously). And they've got the interactive cichlid personality. Awesome fish, can't wait until I upgrade so I can own one (or several) myself!
