FINALLY: Little Man (foal)pix--"Stilts"

If Little Man were mine, i would probably have been sneaking out to the barn every day with a bucketful of warm oatmeal mixed with cream and sugar.

Well, Malbri, here are some more recent photos---first two are a couple months ago, last two are from last weekend. I ended up naming him Delight's Skye Warrior---Delight after grandpa, Sun's Delight D, and my dad was a test/fighter pilot, thus Skye Warrior.
Skye's growing, but still a bit slowly--he finally dropped completely, but we'll wait a bit more to cut him. Watauga, he's gotten more than his fair share of goodies without spoiling!! He's on a height growthspurt, now I'm trying to fill him out again. In the first photo you can see how he looked like a fuzzy pony this winter; now he's looking more like a horse again. He's a sweetie, alot like Rosie, not studdy yet. In the last shot Rosie is on the right, Sista, my Quarter Horse, is center, and SKye is left. Nice hineys . . lol. He's shedding off last . . .

Hey, DD, you are totally welcome to be a part of our little family!! He's doing soooo well!! The new baby isn't mine, but half brother to Skye and Rose--same daddy shown in top pictures. (He was 3 weeks late--51 weeks total!!!)His human momma is a friend of mine, Sonny's granddaughter, a Junior in High School and a wonderful young lady. She started showing Walking Horses last year--flat shod--and placed first in most everything, even at the Celebration in Tennessee!!! She has a young'un under saddle too, so we ride our young girls together--I should be able to take Rosie out by herself soon!!! We haven't come up with a name for him (not his registered name, his everyday name) so if you have any ideas . . . .he's a huge colt. I wish he'd stay smoky gray but he'll be like black silk, like his momma. I could post those photos too, but it might be too much horsey stuff!!!!!!!!!

He is still a beautiful little (or should we say bigger foal). He looks alot better than before. I will keep praying for him and for him to get even stronger.. Keep up the good work Rosita.....I love horses also.......and all the little critters we all have.....:dance2:

mee mee: thanks for continuing to keep Skye in your thoughts---he's so small, really, and I have faith he'll grow, but you know how it is. . . :)
