That was the intent, a river flowing between two sides. I modeled it after some of the amazing ADA and other serious hobby landscapers. They often include a beach or river/creek element. The concept came out of the substrate. I used ADA dark amazonia on the left and red fluorite on the right. The peterified wood is red with black, white and purple features. As it would happen, the main fish is also red and black (sharko); then I purchased a small school of rummy nosed tetras (red nose, white body, black and white tail). The killifish also have red spots with some purplish (more blue) elements. Anyway, I'm pleased to receive such nice comments. One last thing, a really cool feature, is when the aquarium lights go off, the river looks like it really flows, as the room has an overhead light casting a shadow of the HOB filter pushing the water on top of the aquarium, it gives the illusion of the sandy bottom river actually flowing. I'll try to post more pic's tonight.
