He was about four or five inches long, I haven't seen many that were that big, but they are everywhere in the woods. Where we caught him, the only decent water sources were puddles, and the lake was a fairly good distance from where he was, so I'm not sure what the little fella (whom we lovingly named Gloop) was doing so far from any water source.
And tricksterpup, I'll definatly be looking at that link, since I'm sure I'll need help aquascaping it so it'd be good for both kinds of critters.
