I purchased two fancy guppies, a male & female to use for fish in cycling of a new 29 gallon. I read all about the rigourous testing and water change requirements and decided I could commit to that.
So here is the thing: These 2 guppies have been in the tank less than 24 hours and I've already counted at least 5 fry. The kid at the fish store must have not have seen them. I didn't either because they are so small and nearly transparent. Imagine my surprise.
So far so good, neither of the adult fish seem to be exhibiting any sort of stress. The little ones seem ok also.
I really want these little guys to survive, should I try to yank them out of the tank until it's fully cycled, or just leave them be?
I tried to get a picture but I couldn't get a good one.
